SGIA is the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association, which supports the leaders of the digital & screen printing community. Members of the community create products for the point-of-purchase displays, printed electronics, membrane switches, signs, advertisements, garments, containers and vehicle industries.

This is a significant step forward to continuing Wilson-Hurd’s new chapter of business.

The new Wilson-Hurd website offers a clean, modern, user-friendly and content-rich experience. The website is designed to inform customers of all that Wilson-Hurd can do, as well as assist them in their decision making and creation of custom products. The website also focuses on explaining Wilson-Hurd’s product details and capabilities, and highlights previous work in photo galleries and featured projects.

Press Release: Wilson-Hurd Receives ISO 13485:2012 Certification

Wausau, Wisconsin: Wilson-Hurd is pleased to announce its Medical Contract Manufacturing plant in Berlin, Wisconsin has received the ISO 13485:2012 certification. The certification is valid through July 3, 2017.  The ISO 13485:2012 certification ensures a quality management system is in place for the design and manufacturing of medical devices.

Chris Weed, Quality Systems Manager, stated, “This certification is a key milestone for Wilson-Hurd. It will help our customers be assured that we have the systems in place to meet their requirements, and the requirements of the FDA.”

Wausau, Wisconsin: Wilson-Hurd Mfg Co is marking 110 years of operation this summer. The founders, George Wilson and Arthur Hurd, formed the business in the Wausau area in 1904. The factory initially produced patented bag holders for agricultural and industrial uses. The company broadened its product offerings to remembrance advertising and nameplates.

Presently, Wilson-Hurd creates innovative solutions to meet today’s needs. The company provides electronic control products including membrane switches, capacitive switches, PiezoPanels, elastomeric keypads, point-of-purchase displays, medical contract manufacturing, printed electronics, nameplates, panels, dials, and overlays. The company’s corporate headquarters are in Wausau, WI with two additional facilities in Berlin, WI.
